There are no formal entry qualifications needed to enrol on this course, but significant experience within a childcare setting is necessary, and you must be currently working in a childcare setting as you will be assessed in your workplace as part of the award.

The qualification covers working with children aged 0 - 16 years.

On completion of this course, you can progress onto a variety of CACHE childcare courses.
